So Frankie + Matt…first of all can we just talk about how cool Frankie’s name is? Not only is her given name Francesca, but she has the best nickname. I’m sorta jealous!
But what’s even better is this session and all the fun lovey-dovey vibes that are bursting out of every photo! These two used to live in Puerto Rico, so Fort Pickens was the perfect backdrop for reminiscing and then making brand new memories at their engagement shoot. I have to admit I normally stray away from the Fort simply because SO MANY photographers shoot there so often. I try to get off the beaten path as much as possible! However Frankie + Matt were down with exploring different areas of this picturesque landmark, which ended up being the best decision.
The sun was absolute perfection against that time-worn brick backdrop. And the wind was (as always) just right! And of course we couldn’t be right next to the gorgeous beaches of the Emerald Coast without taking a few sunset shots as well.
While I’m super duper ridiculously sad that I won’t be capturing their wedding (they already have another fab photog taking care of them in their out-of-state wedding!), I’m feeling all the blessings that I was able to capture this time spent together! They told me they didn’t have very many shots of them kissing up until now….and I believe we’ve remedied that completely!
