Peyton + Will | North Carolina Wedding Photographer

One of my very favorite weddings of last year!! I was given the opportunity to travel to North Carolina for Peyton + Will’s wedding weekend. Full of Southern charm and hospitality with just the right amount of elegance mixed in, this one was not lacking in details or perfection.

I spent quite literally all day with the happy couple and their 20 (yep that’s right…TWENTY) attendants. :) And the best part was that one of Peyton’s matron of honor’s was her mother! And she surprised her mom the DAY OF the wedding! It was a beautiful moment – one of a hundred really.

Gifts were exchanged before the ceremony. Tears shed, all happy of course! And even the surprise rain shower couldn’t dampen any spirits. It blew through and we still captured the PERFECT sunset photos with Peyton + Will!

The ceremony can hardly be conveyed in earnest with just photographs, but you can see plainly that they thoroughly enjoyed their night with about 200 of their closest friends and family! :)

I cannot wait until the day I get these two in front of my camera again! They’re in California now, but I have a feeling I’ll see them again sooner rather than later. <3

Love you guys!!

Will’s ring was handed down through generations! 1930 was the original year it was given in marriage.

One of my favorite moments of the day was the confetti mess made in the girl’s getting ready room. haha! We were picking that stuff out of everyone’s hair (including mine!) all night!

When you ask your mom to be your matron of honor <3

We’re keeping Will’s gift private ;) He liked it though to say the least.

I’d ask them to stop being perfect, but I’m pretty certain they don’t know how.

“You’ve lost…that lovin’ feeling!!” #militarytraditions
