Cecilia + Jae make finding true love a work of art. I first spoke with Cecilia last October, and from that moment I knew this relationship was incredibly special and that I couldn’t wait to meet them both! That first meeting didn’t actually happen until the wedding day, as they reside in Texas (and we know I love me some Texas!). When I walked into the suite at Margaritaville, it wasn’t hard to know which beautiful lady was Cecilia – because she was rushing up to hug my neck like we were already old friends. I immediately fell in love with this bride!
The joy exhibited from not only the bride, but also her lovely maids, was infectious! There was a laid back atmosphere during the entire getting ready process – and that’s exactly how it should be. <3
Jae and his groomsmen were no different in attitude and FUN! More like brothers than friends, these guys have known each other for about 30 years. Putting that into perspective for me was having to know someone my ENTIRE life thus far for that to happen. I can only pray that I’m now forming the amazing bonds that these friends have forged over their lifetime with each other. It was a blessing to witness!
Everyone in attendance including guests, bridal party, and family came to a grand total of around 20 people. And EVERY single person was special in some way to Cecilia + Jae! You could tell that this wasn’t just a fun party to celebrate their union, but was in fact the perfect excuse to celebrate ALL the people in this couple’s lives that fill their hears with JOY.
I didn’t feel like a vendor…I felt like a friend. And that’s all because of the genuine LOVE they exude to the people surrounding them. I’m incredibly blessed to not only have met this amazing couple, but to have captured all the beautiful moments that made up their perfect day!
I got to sneak a peek at one of the bridesmaid’s speeches.
You just can’t fake this kind of brotherhood!
Jae insisted those weren’t tears…but I think we all knew better 🙂
