Briana + Christian's Henderson Beach Resort Wedding

Briana + Christian’s wedding at Henderson Beach Resort was simply smashing! I’m currently binge watching “Great British Bake-Off”, so this post may or may not be littered with hints of Brit slang throughout. Seriously though….the colors, the location, the design, the rooftop ceremony…everything was perfectly matched to the already gorgeous bride and groom!

First stop was Briana’s room with all the girls! They were in calm, cool, and chill mode from the moment I stepped through the door. (Love when brides are ready early! It allows them to relax before getting dressed and really catch their breath). Once Briana got into her gown she was a full-on Disney PRINCESS!! They can just go ahead and start the sketches for the movie she will inspire. Done deal. Go on Disney, cut the check to us now!

Side note: I will say the day had me running y’all. Like quite literally. RUNNING to and fro and beyond. :) Henderson Beach Resort is much bigger than you’d imagine, and all in all I think I got my steps in for the day. Haha!

The rooftop ceremony was infused with happy tears (thanks to Christian’s vows), an adorable baby boy (their son!), and a view to die for (well cheers, sunset). And these guys were absolute champions during their portraits as the light was leaving us FAST! But we made it happen – as always – and ended up with stellar images.

The band kicked things off at the reception with oldies tunes and crowd participation! Briana + Christian really wanted a “framily” affair for the party and simply enjoyed visiting with all of their favorite people. And they swiftly became my favorites when they sent me home with TONS OF CAKE!! Way to my heart? Puds. (Or as you Americans call them, sweets).
