When Jamie told me she and Chris were getting married at Maritime Community Park in Downtown Pensacola, I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as how “photographable” the place would be. You hear that location, and you think “ball park…Pensacola Wahoos…stadium”. But lemme tell you just how wrong my preconceived ideas were!
This “venue” is actually pretty stellar!! You get the water view without the crazy brightness and windiness of the beach, there’s greenery everywhere, and the sun sets in the perfect spot for those golden hour photos.
Needless to say I was MORE than pleasantly surprised.
To back up a bit in our day…I arrived at the Holiday Inn to find Jamie and her gals completely chilled out and relaxed. Makeup and hair finished, all of them looking gorgeous, and absolutely ready to have an incredible day! Between all the Harry Potter talk (we’re obsessed) and the straight-from-the-bottle drinking (only by them!) ;) I was in photo heaven and grinning ear to ear.

The fellas were just one floor below us and having their own fun. I love how Chris’ dad tied his tie for him and how mom was there to place the boutonniere!
After making me sob like a baby during the first look with Jamie and her dad, she and Chris had a “NO look” where they stood back to back and prayed together. Such a sweet moment to capture, and honestly I think more couples should embrace the “no look” option!
What did I tell you!?? Check out that water view!! *insert heart eyes here*
How Jamie was the only one not getting any love in this shot….haha!!
Like I said…that sunset was magnificent! I’m so grateful that everything timed out so perfectly that we could take enough time to really let these two enjoy being JUST MARRIED!
Thank you Jamie and Chris SO MUCH for inviting me into your lives and making me feel like a part of your circle! Like you said, we’re stuck together now. There’s no getting rid of me :)
