Shannon + Austin’s wedding sneak peek is long overdue! But life happens, delays things, and since I’m blessed with the very best clients of all time….well let’s just say life is awesome. So without further adieu, let’s dive right into this incredible wedding at Old Christ Church and Palafox Wharf!
The day began a little sketchy with rain pouring down (HEAVY), but the afternoon promised clear skies and a gorgeous sunset. Faith remained strong!! Fortunately Shannon and Austin planned an early 2pm ceremony, so we got to take photos TWICE of them. Once post-ceremony at Old Christ Church and then at sunset on the water at Palafox Wharf!
So to give some background on this fab couple, they’re actually already married. YEP. We did their elopement session months ago! But they still wanted to do the dang thing and invite family and friends to celebrate with them, so here we are :)
Rainy days can NEVER dampen my spirits. I’ve said it many times before and I’ll continue to be the broken record here. Your day’s happiness is not dictated by the weather…but always by how you feel for one another and that true love. (TIP: don’t watch the weather weeks in advance….please) ;)
With only two attendants standing next to them – that’s one on each side by the way – the ceremony felt close and intimate. Which is the perfect setting for Old Christ Church! After bringing everyone to tears with their personal vows, they made it official for a second time. This time to the applause of all those closest to them!
Taking a break for those sunset photos was the best idea ever. Because God gifted us with all the golden goodness!! And Austin is never one to shy away from a goofy time and had both me and Shannon in stitches. :) After tossing her over his shoulder, we headed back inside for the dancing and fun. And y’all….these guys and their buds know how to party. Just keep on scrollin for the photo proof!
